Privacy Notice

This notice explains how KuickKonvert handles your files and data. It is not formal legal advice -- see the governing law note below.

What we do with your files

Files you upload to KuickKonvert are used only to perform the conversion you requested. Each file is processed in a temporary, isolated workspace and is automatically and permanently deleted as soon as your converted file is returned to you, or if the conversion fails. We do not review, copy, back up, or retain your files.

What we don't do

We do not store your files after conversion. We do not use uploaded file contents to train any model. We do not sell or share file contents with third parties.

Basic technical logs

Our servers may keep standard operational logs (timestamps, error codes, approximate file size) to diagnose failures and prevent abuse. These logs do not include file contents.

Where your files are processed

KuickKonvert runs on servers operated by our hosting provider, Render, in its Singapore (Southeast Asia) region. When you upload a file, it is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to that server, converted there, and deleted as described above. If you are outside Singapore, this means your file is briefly processed in another country.

Your responsibility

Please do not upload files containing information you are not authorised to share (e.g. third-party confidential data) unless you have the right to process it this way.

Advertising and cookies

KuickKonvert may display third-party advertisements (for example, through Google AdSense) to help cover hosting costs, keeping every conversion tool free to use. If ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com, and you can also control cookies generally through your browser's settings. We do not control the cookies set by third-party ad providers directly.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate -- for example which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, and the approximate country. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It never receives the contents of your files.

Google Ads measurement

We advertise KuickKonvert through Google Ads. When you arrive from one of our ads and complete a conversion, the site tells Google Ads that a conversion happened, so we can see whether our advertising is useful. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for this. This measurement never includes your files, their names or their contents. Outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it is on by default; you can block it with your browser's cookie or tracking settings, and manage Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

For visitors from these regions, advertising and analytics cookies are switched off by default: Google only receives limited, cookieless measurement signals, and no ad or analytics cookies are set unless you give consent through a consent message.

Before personalized ads are shown to visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent through a consent message, and you can decline. If you are in one of these regions, data protection law such as the GDPR gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to access it and to ask for it to be deleted. Because we do not store your files, there is normally nothing of that kind to delete; for any other request, contact us using the details below.

Governing law note
