Excel to PDF
Excel to PDF turns an XLS or XLSX spreadsheet into a fixed-layout PDF -- useful whenever you want to share numbers without letting the recipient edit formulas, or print a clean copy of a sheet.

- Select your XLS file from your device, or drag it into the box above.
- KuickKonvert converts it automatically -- there's nothing else to configure.

Good to know
Columns are automatically widened to fit their content, and for a very wide sheet the page automatically switches to landscape orientation so more columns fit on the page. Extremely wide sheets may still show slightly smaller text even in landscape.
When you'd use this
- Sharing a read-only copy of a spreadsheet with a client or manager.
- Printing an invoice or price list for someone without Excel.
- Archiving a finished spreadsheet in a format that won't change if formulas are later edited.
Privacy & security
Your file is used only to perform this conversion, in an isolated temporary workspace, and is deleted automatically as soon as the converted file is returned to you (or immediately if the conversion fails). See our Privacy notice for details.
Frequently asked questions
Will my columns get cut off?
Columns are automatically resized to fit, and very wide sheets switch to landscape orientation automatically to keep everything on the page.
Are my formulas or macros preserved?
The PDF shows the calculated values currently in your sheet -- formulas and macros themselves aren't carried into the PDF, since PDF is a fixed, non-editable format.
Can I convert XLSX to PDF online without installing Excel?
Yes -- you upload the file from your browser and the conversion runs on our server, so you can convert an XLS or XLSX file to PDF even on a device that doesn't have Excel installed.
Is this free, and is there a file size limit?
It's free with no sign-up. The only limit is a 50MB file size cap, which covers the vast majority of spreadsheets.
